Model Year Launches


Similar to the automotive industry, the boating industry refreshes inventory yearly through a “model year” system in order to showcase new models and features. Introducing small changes and updates each year to current and potential customers helps the industry to create a perception of freshness and incentivizes trade-ins to keep the market dynamic. Throughout my time at MasterCraft, I led two model year turnovers on the marketing front, which helped the brand launch eight new models into the market.

My Role

As creative lead for the MasterCraft marketing department, I managed the full spectrum of production and brand initiatives. I oversaw six major photo and video shoots for critical product launches while maintaining relationships with production partners across paid, earned, and owned channels. My role served as a “brand guardian” which ensured consistent brand identity and messaging in all marketing materials. I led comprehensive pre-production development, including creative briefs, content deliverables, and campaign timelines, while providing final creative approval in post-production to maintain brand standards and reach objectives agreed upon between the marketing and sales departments. In addition, I led all PR initiatives to secure prominent coverage across national and regional outlets.

Year-Round Campaigns

In addition to product launches and model year turnover, I helped to spearhead “always-on” campaigns to continue driving customer engagement throughout the year. Not only did these campaigns help to humanize our athletes and our brand, but they brought greater awareness to the MasterCraft name through organic search, educated potential customers, and deepened loyalty with existing customers.
